I finally got around to creating a video for my tutorial on how to restore your jailbroken iDevice (ipad, ipod touch, iphone) as new and still be able to keep your saved games. Here is a link to the thread I created over at ModMyi on how to do it: modmyi.com The reason you would want to restore as a new iDevice is because junk builds up when you are jailbroken. This can cause battery life problems, slow apps, and crashes. I recommend restoring at least every two months if possible. This tutorial makes it a lot easier to do so. The requirements for this is a jailbroken iDevice that will also be jailbroken after the restore. You will also need to either SSH or use iPhone Explorer to gain root access to your device. iPhone Explorer: m.macupdate.com You may also need to download “afc2add” in Cydia to allow for accessing your device’s root files through USB.

I have 3.1.3. Jailbroken. I have a lot of nice apps. I want 4.1, is this video going to help me, please reply anyone~
@Kazdal567 yes it will help you. just follow it and upgrade to 4.1, then jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.6b2 and do this again.

yeah same thing happened to me it works do it!!
NB: the download of appbackup dependencies totals ~40 MB so wifi recommended.
