Eden creates analogue sounds ranging from deep basslines and fat pads all the way up to squealing 303 lines and heavily distorted leads. Each voice has 2 anti-aliased oscillators modulated in mix, ring or sync configurations fed into a low, band or high pass 2 pole resonant filter. Eden’s virtual patchbay allows you to connect 3 envelope generators and 4 beat-sync LFO’s to create modulation mayhem. Real-time performance becomes a truly interactive experience with dual X controllers, accelerometer input and a pitch bend wheel, all totally configurable via the patchbay. Controller movements can be recorded and edited using the sequencer It doesn’t stop there. How do I get the “Digeridrone” sound on my NanoStudio?
One person sucks at making music and disliked this vid
@diakomes You can download the mp3 from the Media page on the Blip Interactive website, or you can download the free Windows/OSX version of NanoStudio (on the Downloads page) and render it out as a wav file.
@ButterPatrole Load up the ‘Laid Back’ demo and you’ll find it as preset P01. You might want to write it to a global bank (eg. an empty preset in the C bank) if you want to use it in your other projects.
@bigbolo73 Yep the latest version’s compatible with the Akai SynthStation 25, the Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer and Core MIDI via the camera connection kit (Core MIDI is iPad only though).
@HHDougyT The synth has a load of extra pages for modifying the sounds (eg. oscillator, amplitude, LFO, envelopes and patchbay). If you’re happy with a modified sound you can write it to a bank to use later. You might want to check out the PDF manual, you can find it on the Downloads page of the Blip Interactive website.
@BlipInteractive An where can I load it up? I mean, I only know, that I can load up beats for the TRG-16 using “Edit” and then I have it. But how can I do this for the piano, and not for the TRG-16?
@BlipInteractive Oh okay I got it
Doesn’t sound like your one, but thanks
@BlipInteractive thx champ. you most definitly rock. u on facebook?
please, can you ad 6 Tracks for Keyboard record, now it has only 4 tracks, or are 6 tracks too much for the iphone 4 latency? sorry for my bad english.
This is one of the best songs I’ve heard.. And it’s produced using an iPhone app. That’s insane! I got this app like 5 minutes ago. Brilliant stuff man!
I’m in love..
@MysterioEffect More tracks, instruments and effects will be coming in the next update – NanoStudio was originally written to run happily on 2G phones, but times have moved on since then and the iPhone 4 will handle a lot more!
@diakomes Nah I keep meaning to set up an ‘official’ NanoStudio Facebook page but there are always too many other things to do and not enough hours in the day … I’m doing Twitter, 140 characters now and then are pretty quick
@BlipInteractive Thanks for reply, this is the best Music App, i realy like it. can’t wait for the Update, you rock! cheers
I’m loving the app, 20 thumBs up, lol..But I have an issue with loading my own soundkits to the app from my computer.how do u do it, thanks for the help.
pretty impresive this guys nails it all in one take. ok practiced a while but still. straight upppppppppppp cmptn…..
@lalo07lrg If you’re having trouble then your best bet’s probably to ask at the NanoStudio forum on the Blip Interactive website, it’s a lot easier to post replies that way. Let us know where you’ve got to with it and we should be able to help from there.
@BlipInteractive any idea when the next update will be available? Also don’t suppose there’s the chance of a limited time pricedrop to coincide with this update. Being a complete newbie to software such as this makes dropping £9 on an app I may or may not be able to properly use quite daunting.
Can you rip samples from old skool songs
@Gamepadvideos There’s no planned price drop but I understand that you don’t want to blow your hard earned cash on something if you’re not sure you’ll get the use from it. Best thing to do would be to get the free Windows/OSX version from the Downloads page on the Blip Interactive website – it’s almost a full version aside from not having the ‘record from mic’ function that the iPhone has. Anything you do on the desktop version can be exported to the phone if you do decide to get it.
Need help.?
guy’s just wanna ask if you can record a song in this app after you made your own mix in this nanostudio
Hey blip. Great stuff man but ive got a few questions, firstly you said in the next update that times have moved on from 2G…does this mean there will be nomore updates except for iphone/ipod 4? :’(
i use it loads!
Secondly: im not sure what i did but my surge bass synth is just…gone. I wrote it unchanged to the C bank by accident and its gone
Oh and great app dude
@justfunnythings I’m going to continue to support 2G and iOS 3.1.2 devices for as long as Apple lets me, but you’ll find that you won’t be able to use as many effects and instruments on older hardware as you can with the iPhone 4.
I’ve never seen a more comprehensive software synth with such a smooth learning curve, to it. Nano Studio is teh boom
