@Dudinator123 She didn’t fall in love with Kittan, as much is obvious. She never even made the slightest pass on him. The whole thing is from Kittan’s point of view entirely and she’s passive throughuot, speaks when spoken to. This is really getting old, can’t you people even make such a simple observation?
-Mayday! Kittan needs some character developement before he ***!
-Let’s make him fall for Yoko! -Bravo!
The saddest thing isn’t that Yoko is “losing her boyfriend” but that this isn’t even the ‘Yoko’ we knew anymore. she’s just ‘that girl’, the archetypical love interest, the most stereotypical device shoehorning developement into male character. This doesn’t have anything to to with any of Yoko’s stories, she’s an object now. All it is, is just additional drama for his death, no more.
@bear211 Sorry dude, it just seemed that way. Doesn’t Kittan give Yoko the ring in the dream world?
@Dudinator123 It’s totally not like that: ther’s never any blushing, longing gazes or any sort of visible romantic interest displayed by her. Ther’s only friendship and even that seems stretched- when did they ever talked in the past seven years? The maze has nothing to do with desires actually. It’s purpose is to explore every possible way of the universe and she rejects it as soon as she sees that- only to meet you know who.
@bear211 Wow, you sure know alot about this show don’t you? Can you answer this question: In the prologue to the series, Boota is shown in his human form, yet near the end of the series they say his human form is temporary, did he find someway of permanately chanelling the energy of the spirial to attain that form?
@Dudinator123 From narrative standpoint that scene takes place in another universe like the ones in the maze. So that other Boota must’ve either contain enough Spiral power to stay in his human form or both the Boota’s could do that just the one we know decided against it. I dont know. But the real reson for that scene in the beginning was to present a bit of a preview what the series might become. The series (and Simon’s developement) took another direction because the concept changed.
I flipped when I saw his goggles turn into kamina’s glasses, then they turned into a giant star and I was like “aw..”
@MultiKaiso me to
@MultiKaiso Hah, but it shows that Simon’s not Kamina. As he said around 13 episodes ago “I’m not my bro, I’m Simon the Digger!”
@nikgokuhil I accept your dying wish! I shall remember the soul of Kittan! A man who was NOT a side character!
Am I the only one who noticed that right before they transformed into supergalactic Gurren Lagann, Boota was like ‘Booya’ or is that just me hearing things? 22:07
Dayum lol this was the second time boota saved team dye gurren.

Anti-spiral: “I am teh Anti-spiral”
