    hmm… I don’t know if i buy this or the Archos 32. Beceause the 5 has 16GB of memory and we can put SDHC card and the 32 has only 8 gb.

    @stevechippy i tried the 250gb and OMG it is so thick and crappy, HDD is so bad compared to flash memory which is a lot faster
    returned it right away

    the System Storage space is a pre-determined decision by Android developers check it out b4 u purchase this junk! can’t have many applications!…even with a 500GB…and archos doesn’t care

    You just turn off mobile view in the browsers settings.. And even better, Firefox is available in the Market now and that is the best browsing experience I’ve ever seen on Android so far.

    Hi Steve, did you see that Archos released a “new” Archos 48 Internet Tablet, which is almost identical to the Archos 5 IT 500GB model? It came out I think last Tuesday. The only differences I can see and from what the tech told me are that it only comes in the 500GB hard drive, it does not have GPS, which I guess will make for a better battery life, it’s quite a bit cheaper at $299, and it will get an OFFICIAL updated OS, Froyo, or whichever they decide on. Any chance you’ll do a video on it?
