GET CASHBACK ON iTUNES STORE!! FREE EBOOK goo.gl Father and Son team launch an iphone into space. The iphone along with a HD camera were lifted up to an altitude of 100 000ft above New York using a helium filled balloon. At this atitude the weather balloon burst and sent the iphone, camera and burst container hurtling towards the earth at 150mph even with the parachute open! Thanks to the iPhones internal GPS, the capsule and its contents were located intact in a tree 30 miles north of the liftoff site!

damn this should have way more views! greetings from toronto canada!
@jakebrad1515 You know what? You are damn right! I guess if everybody who has watched it, posted it on their facebook or twitter, it would get some serious views! I am trying to get to a million! PLEASE HELP!
That is awesome, I don’t understand why it was so cold, why the battery would freeze, especially once it get’s back in our atmosphere. Any way this should be on tv, and have more views i’m surprised it doesn’t
@AskewTarantula It was well insulated in that box
@0248959
If it was insulated it wouldn’t gotten cold. Either way that’s not really my question. Is it really cold the higher you go I guess the question is. Is space freezing, I mean I would think it would be warmer up there, direct sunlight, no clouds.
Thatlitel boy likes that sucker like a faget
@AskewTarantula space is only a few tenths of a degree above absolute zero, around -459F or -273C
but as altitude increases the temperature alternate between warm and cool several times as it passes through different “levels” of our atmosphere.
@AskewTarantula I think Technically it never left our atmosphere. All though all you see is black, im pretty sure thats the exosphere, the outermost layer of the earths atmosphere.
hey to whoever posted this video…this is amazing! i love stuff like this and i can really appreciate the time and thought put into this…my professor of sociology shows a video before class everyday and this was one of a few out of his poll we can vote for…its a class of 400 so i’ll do my best for this to get more recognition!!!
@cs318608 WOW. Thanks very much, I didn’t realise that this video would be shown in class! Very touched mate! The video is in HD and can be viewed full screen without losing too much resolution. Would really appreciate any efforts you make to get this shown in your class.
@0248959 Not a problem at all!! I’d love to see this get more views myself…I already emailed my professor telling him your appreciation and tried to sway him to show it! I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get shown in class next week sometime!!! very impressive video i’ve always loved astronomy and this is too cool!
